WHAT THEY LEARN
Endless Play Ideas
Kids will be pretending to do real, everyday activities and then some with this contemporary play kitchen. They'll cook and clean just like mom and dad but can also run their very own restaurant or host their own cooking show. Incorporate pretend menus, cooking adventures and shopping outings to expand vocabulary, flexible thinking and planning skills.
Cooking Up Some Skills
Symbolic, or pretend, play is particularly great for developing motor skills. Kids are moving their whole bodies as they maneuver and balance items in their play kitchen. They're strengthening their fine motor skills when twisting knobs, pressing buttons, loading the ice maker, and opening and closing doors. Have kids create a story and act it out. They'll be interacting with their kitchen and developing motor skills while their imaginations expand. So many fun foodie outings await!
Imagination : Dream Up Fun
Whether being themself or someone else, imaginative play builds social skills. A few thought-starters for young visionaries.
